Program Description
Digital marketing is everywhere today and businesses are using it to reach their customers. In this program students will learn to use a wide variety of digital channels and media to effectively and efficiently promote products and services. This program prepares students to work in the field of social media and marketing. Students will learn to combine photography and video elements into marketing campaigns that are now an integral part of a successful business.Students will learn a solid foundation of computer, communication, and media production concepts while obtaining a solid grasp of digital marketing management and strategies. This program allows the student to participate in a professional internship component. Students may begin in entry-level positions and work toward advancement and promotion.
Program Learning Outcomes
1. Apply business communication skills in a variety of situations both orally and written.2. Use digital technology to engage with diverse audiences.
3. Demonstrate knowledge of digital photography and video production workflow and post production techniques.
4. Apply cinematic storytelling to digital media productions.
5. Effectively combine photography and video into social media marketing campaigns.
6. Apply knowledge of legal requirements and ethics associated with technology.
