Program Description

The Computer Forensics/Network Security program is designed to provide students with capabilities in several areas of computing: This certificate is intended to provide students with the essential skills, knowledge and experience necessary to deal with computer forensics and computer/network security.
NOTE: This certificate is not for beginners; please contact the department for more information.

Program Learning Outcomes

Upon graduation from the Information Technology / Computer Forensics/Network Security program, graduates will be prepared to:

  1. Plan, coordinate and implement network, computer/systems technical procedures to retrieve data.
  2. Answer user inquiries regarding software and hardware operation to retrieve digital information.
  3. Keep records and prepare reports detailing findings, investigative methods and laboratory techniques.
  4. Demonstrate professional conduct including responsibility, effective communication and ethical standards.
